Captain Mark Curtis is a seasoned fishing guide with more than 20 years of experience on the lakes of Northern Wisconsin. Raised in Vilas County, he grew up learning the ins and outs of freshwater fishing from his family, with a special focus on targeting Musky and Walleye. Over the years, Mark has built a deep knowledge of lakes like North Twin, Lac Vieux Desert, Kentuck Lake, and the Eagle River and Three Lakes Chains—making him a trusted expert for locals and visiting anglers alike.
Mark’s calm, instructional style makes him a great fit for beginners, families, and seasoned anglers. He works closely with each guest to tailor the trip to their skill level, fishing goals, and preferences. Whether it’s casting for Smallmouth Bass near rocky shorelines or trolling for trophy-class Musky, Mark relies on local insight and seasonal experience to choose the best approach for the day. His easygoing personality and clear communication make every trip smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
Beyond his guiding experience, Mark holds certifications in boating safety and first aid and stays active in local conservation and fishing communities. He believes in sustainable fishing and takes pride in educating guests not only about techniques but also about the unique ecosystems of Northern Wisconsin.
